CONTINUING CAMARO PROJECT

Hey y'all!

Recieved the demi works 180sx rocketbunny fenders, let's start all the fitting and painting
And ofcourse it turned ou it needs a lot of measuring and cutting to fit. Spent a lot of time on it but in the end managed to fit it as I wanted. After all the fitting and cutting it was easy, just to mask it and paint in correct color scheme.

Really satisfied with the result of the rear fenders, front is soon to come, had few issues fitting them, but figured out how to get the best fit. Also in the package recieved some fenders for E36 project, so that one is finally coming to the end of the project.

Chevy CAMARO

Hey!!
Had this PROTOFORM chevy camaro body laying around for a while, decided to make a small side project from it. Since this is RC onroad body it is not as detailed as usual drift bodies.

But I still decided to make something decent from it or at least to train my painting skills on it, either way I would not be too pissed if it would not turn out really good.
I had some inspiration from a camaro in formulaD

This is what I am planning to go for, but this body doesn't look as agressive and it is also not as wide as I want it to be, so I can have rims with decent offset etc.

Decision was made to order Demi-Works overfenders for 180sx and try to fit it on this camaro. It certainly won't be direct fit, but with some cutting and measuring it should get the job done.

Paint plan is done, everything is masked and ready for paintjob

So far I like how it is turning out. This is the most interesting color scheme I've been painting, before this I've painted MAX 2 color  body where not a lot of masking is required, but this felt like a new level, of course I have some mistakes here, but I am learning new things with each body and getting better and better with my painting skills.

Finishing with the white color to brighten up the colors sligtly, and after that just a small layer of black to seal everything.

Turned out well, now just needs a lot of detailing work, overfenders, stickers, etc. Also most probably will go for ducktail or something like that in order to cover those holes for huge onroad wing.

RWD OTA-R31

Hey guys!
I really like how it is turning out. Everything is almost done, waiting for some last parts to arrive. While waiting for them, I played with some settings, got a basic setup, so both sides are equel and after that I can tune accordingly when I'll have first tests.

I've hear a lot of good stuff about tatsuken ashi, and now finally I have an opportunity to test it by myself. Tuning options are countless here. So I started here with some basic tune, getting good lock, small caster and slight toe out.

The angle this baby gives me is more than satisfactory, lets wait for remaining parts and start some testing!

RWD ERA

Few years ago no one could imagine RWD rc drifting. Everything started just with AWD drifting, but it did not feel right neither looked good. People started switching to CS, later high-CS and after that the only option left to master was RWD. It seemed really uncontrollable, but big brands started producing gyros, which made RWD rc drifting possible and look scale. Now AWD and CS is not so popular anymore, even the world championships now have only RWD class.
I need to be up to date, so I started my RWDR31 transformation. Some people here in Latvia already started RWD and because of that I had some understanding what I need. I needed more weight balance towards back and good steering angle. To transfer some weight I decided to move my motor, and new StreetJam conversion can allow me that. For suspension I decided to go with tatsuken-ashi and also got StreetJam sliding steering rack.

Build quality of everything is really good and I did not have any issues.
Now just waiting for few parts arriving to finish the build. Really excited how this one will turn out and also excited to finally get into RWD rc drifting!

BMW E36 PART II

Here we go, adding overfenders and front bumper lip, giving it a more aggresive feel and also widening the body, which is the main reason why I am doing it!

Here in the picture you can see bumper lip almost finished and the front overfenders. Had just 2 laying around, which means the back overfenders will be finished later!

Few details are added and this is how it is looking right now. It has some issues and flaws but overall satisfied with the look so far.
Later looking through Instangram came up with an idea  to make cooling cutouts in the trunk like here

Worked out pretty good in my opinion and also left the wires, so later those fans can be connected and probably have some extra cooling for ESC/MOTOR.

STAY TUNED!
